Rion greenhouses are available in two widths, 6’6” and 8’6”

We strongly recommend that schools opt for the 8’6” width to allow plenty of space for planters, workbenches, shelving, students, and all the other equipment that will be stored within your greenhouse.



Another benefit of the 8’6” greenhouse width is that it is equipped with dual doors, rather than a single door. This will be much more convenient for moving gardening tools in and out of the greenhouse. It will also make it easier for groups of students to enter and exit the greenhouse.

Typically, schools invest in 16, 20 or 24 foot greenhouses. Remember, it is better to have more space than not enough! Consider the number of students that will be working in the greenhouse at one time and the space you’ll need for shelving and workbenches and for storing gardening equipment.
